Time to get hands-on
This one's hands-on. If you have an Azure subscription, you can do this lab in the real Microsoft Foundry portal. If you don't, you can sign up for an Azure account, which includes credits for your first thirty days. Either way, you can practice every step right here first, in our simulated version.
The route
Here's the route. First, create a Foundry project, in a recommended region. Then find a model in the catalog, check its model card, and deploy it. Test it in the playground, with your own system instructions. Look up the endpoints and keys your apps will need. Connect Visual Studio Code, with the Foundry Toolkit. And finally, clean up by deleting the resource group, so you don't pay for anything you're not using.
Before you start
One note before you start: some of these features are in preview, so the real portal may look a little different from what you see here. Let's go.
